You create extra space by having a good clear-out. A brand new colour scheme in your kitchen, living room or bedroom, can totally revitalise your home and get it back on trend. If you however can’t afford a total overhaul then just a few little changes and modifications here and there such as painting kitchen cabinets, replacing handles, adding a few lampshades, pictures, can make a world of difference to its appearance and feel.
Replace old appliances
Most white goods are rated in terms of their level of energy efficiency. ‘A’ rated items are the best so if you have the cash to hand, buy them as they will make for a great long-term investment, saving huge amounts of money on energy.
